Member of the Performance and

Finance Select Committee

Jamie Fitzjohn moved to West Sussex in early 2012 from Southsea in Hampshire. The first thing he noticed was the friendliness of its residents so it did not take long to feel at home. He has worked in Financial Services for over 30 years starting at IBM on the Youth Training Scheme and progressing to becoming a Retail Banking Manager, a Financial Compliance Officer and now a self-employed Financial Advisor.

Jamie was an FA qualified coach for children's and adults' football teams and a semi-professional ice hockey coach. Helping young teenagers develop as players and individuals was extremely enjoyable and rewarding as many came from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a Parish Councillor he has served the community since 2015, championing local issues. His main interests are walking his dog around beautiful Sussex countryside, watching and listening to football and tracing his family history.
